Just got done painting the one intake that's gotta go on for dyne. tomorrow the blower gets painted and next week it goes to dyne. here's a pic of one of the many little side projects going on.
3/16 acrylic cut with a battery powered jigsaw and shaped with a heat gun. Going to wrap it in matte CF 3m Dinoc. what you guys think on gauge placement? i was thinking symmetrical but I kind of like having two of the same gauge side by side for easy reference at a quick glance. The two outer I will keep as boost as those are the least risky out of fuel pressure, water pressure and boost. Looking good. What do u have going behind the acrylic? I might have missed an earlier pic however it appears your taking your time and thinking things through. That's important and always nice the first time around. Keep up the good work. You'll keep your eyes on boost frequently as well. Perhaps not as savy looking but on my current build/restoration I'm powder coating bezels different color to stand out a bit. As much as you may know your gauges, placement etc. things happen extremely fast especially with a few buds and rough water. :cool-smiley-011: |
I read your post again. Never mind I didn't catch the part where your gonna wrap with cf-3.

Droppingit off at dyno this morning should have results within a week

Should make good power, I'm sure you will be happy. We just dyno'd my 525sc with 265 AFR's and a Bob Madara cam last Wednesday. Was very pleased with the results.

Nah it's not posted anywhere, was extremely similar to what Mike and Joe saw on there most recent 525sc build. 689.4hp@6300 and 675ft lbs tq@4200, 5.6psi of boost at peak power with 3" blower pulley.
