No wideband, used the dyno calculation. I'm not familiar with this....so what does the 100hp correction factor mean in my numbers?

ramos45 04-11-2015 11:19 AM

I think I see what you mean...divide fuel flow by bsfc and result is about 100 off from stated hp at that rpm. Is this what you mean?

What town + state was it dyno'd in (you don't have to mention the shop)

The Las Vegas strip is around 2200FT above sea level. Shop around the same ?

ramos45 04-11-2015 11:44 AM

Shop is at the speedway so maybe a tad higher in elevation

Las Vegas Motor Speedway is 1960-2020 feet depending on reports. LOl. I'm sure the property isn't perfectly flat lol, and thus why. So, 2000ft it is.

Quick look at a small smapling of racers data from the dragway looks like density altitude usually ranges from 2000-3600ft.

Hmm, I would of thought higher due to the view but guess not.

So, the AFR readings on that dyno sheet, were provided from a calulation, rather than an oxygen sensor?

Did they make jetting changes to the carbs while making pulls?

While you are at a higher altitude, your boost level seems to be very good, for that engine combo/pulley combo/blower combo. I'd be willing to bet your fuel mixture is less than ideal.

Your initial pull that you had sent me, made more power, than the final pull, with a higher LB/HR reading of fuel consumption.

18FT lbs less at 4000, and 6HP less at 5700.
