Right now both motors are torn down to long blocks to install new intake gaskets with the Right Stuff this time and beads around the water ports. I'll be testing again this weekend. My fingers are crossed. See pic of valley full of milky oil. Under valve covers were the same. This is on both motors. I can't believe it's a head gasket yet, doesn't seem like water got into the cylinders. On a lighter note...see pic of gauges.

I don't like the looks/sound of the milk shake at all.
I hope an oil change is on that list somewhere, lol. |
Did I hear right---Both motors milked up?
I wouldn't put anything back together until this is figured out. Also, they're out of the boat, I would recommend a total teardown inspection. Lifters, oil pump, oil gallies in the block and crank, etc etc etc, are full of that stuff, A little water on hot bearings is bad. I'd disassemble the whole motor, inspect, clean everything, change main and rod bearings (insurance) double check the cam bearings, change head gaskets, pull the block plugs and blow out all the oil passages. Sorry to hear this happened! I know you worked hard on it. |

Id say it`s a simple intake leak, been there.

How much boost (psi) did the blowers make on the test run?
