How much boost was she making? Carbs out of the box ?

Dam, 9lbs and not even at 800hp? Something seems amiss big time. Your combo should be making more than that, quite a bit more than that.

What pulley ratio are you at?

first pull at 32 deg timing,i think 34 or 35 will show 40 to 50 more hp.

joe,did you install the cam straight up or advance or retard them?

Does seem like shes running out of steam early for that combo.

Degreed it straight up. Warming her up now with 36 deg
