The 1000 pump is worth the extra money and the aero motive filters are sweet too. I like being able to jump the hot lead and fill the carb bowls when they have evaporated dry. Mine is wired on an oil pressure switched relay.

I would pass on the Aeromotive and buy a Weldon 1100A. Twice the pump for the same money

looks like it comes with the pump...can you cut and use the ones from your cool fuel setup?? just hook them to the aeromotives instead of the merc pump??

oh I gtocha..maybe you could just sell the pump?? doesn't the harness have ring terminals that bolt to the pump or is the style that is made right into the pump??

If they bolt on...I'm sure anyone buying would be replacing one from the same setup and could use their harness??

Just a thought...

I'll see if we have any old cool fuel setups laying around I could nab one off of

the wires are hard wired into the pump. so i would almost need two pumps from some one that has 2 bad pumps laying around which is probably imposible since most normal people throw junk away. lol
