Who built you canopies they look good and clear seems like they are one of the toughest thing too replace as they usually don't fit right we had a tough time with mine

Since Tom is likely up to his elbows in Top Shelf Margaritas at the Tampa Poker run, I'll answer that. SHIELDS Premier Windshields - Formed and Hard Coated Polycarbonate Windshields and Windows World Leader I know this because super nice-guy Tom just saved my boating-ass and sent me his backup set from Shields - otherwise I was on a path to miss the whole summer boating season. Thanks Tom.

You are welcome Bob! You even got the Top Shelf Margarita part right! LOL

Canopies but it won't take nearly as much deck modification as I had feared.

More great news for Donzi enthusiasts.

Speed on the Water article from this afternoon has Fred Ross, owner of Iconic Marine Group, saying they intend to bring back the ZRC later this year. Not sure if the (lost/destroyed) molds resurfaced or if they intend to build a new mold from an old boat, but this is exciting.

I can only imagine it will be offered with outboards, hopefully they keep an i/o option too.

Building a new mold from an old boat. Pete Caldwell is making the mold - his late father designed and built the first Zrc mold and hull - Pete worked on it too back in the day.

The engine package they picked for the first one is Merc 1100s with 6s. I told Pete they might want to consider 865s as it'll be an unbelievable screamer with 1100s 😳

Cant wait to see how it turns out! 😎

Following this thread late but who bought or who has the (I think it was) silver ZRC that was listed on FB about a year-18 months ago, think 525 boat, beautiful boat. Some people were tagging me in it when we were looking for a Gladiator but we still had our Gun we were selling.

When I talked with the them I they told me they had all the molds digitized that were destroyed by mistake. Was this one they didn't have?

My understanding was the Fountain molds were possibly digitized but not the Donzi molds and definitely not the ZRC mold.

The original ZRC was CNC cut at Vector Works and the following ZR molds were cnc cut at Marine Concepts. The Cad files do exist somewhere.
