Congrats Darren, Boat looks totally awesome. Good numbers too. Im waiting on a set of 34 dewalds with 15.25 diameter and 20 degree rake. The standard ones I had originally were 15 Diameter if there is such a thing as standard. I say that because I had to ask for the additional Diameter when we built the second set. So happy for you. Have fun and have many hours of safe boating. Steve.
Thanks i appreciate it! I wish you the best as well with your Sweet Skater and the continued dialing in. I love following these threads with all the cool builds and info. DK |
Nice!
Is it just me or does that look huge for a 32? |
You are correct. It's a very big 32'!

it looks great! the additional height was a great touch! not sure how tall those guys are but pretty sure I'd like the feel sitting in it! the 28 skater was a little to shallow for me. 308 is deep and much larger all the way around. your 32 look to similar in depth. congrats!!!

The two guys in the boat are Grant and Andy and they are both 6' tall. |
Did some prop testing with Mercury Monday and Tuesday. Boat loved the 33" Merc small hub props.Ran 121 consistently on the limiters with a good crosswind. That's with 95 gallons of fuel and two guys. Acceleration was incredible. We got 2.23 miles per gallon @ 100MPH.

Question...with the 400Rs on this hull, were different static balance adjustments made in the rigging/lay out compared to say a 300XS set up? Have you had it out in some rough water yet and seen how she flies?

Tanks in the same location, just bigger? I was just interested in knowing if any rigging differences had been made for the added rear weight balance.
