I am pulling the engines out of my scarab today and am wondering if you disconnect the transmissions or pull the engines and trans together. Thanks!

i've always pulled the engine and trans together after i've removed the drives of course.- jeff

I pull the engine and trans together. You can leave the drive on if you have enough room to pull the motor forward. Then I pull the drive before putting the motor back in just so I have less parts laying around

I left the trans's in and just split them at the bell housings. I was a little challenging to get them resplined with the engine mounts.

Just spend the money on a new ride Eric
