Default Drive oil pump

I'm looking for a better way to pump fresh oil back into my bravo XR's. Opposed to the hand pump that screws on top of the quarts of oil. Any suggestions?

Cheap $10 garden sprayer rigged with the drive attachment from that crappy hand pump you already have....just pump it up and sit back with a drink while it fills the drive.

This is what I have to offer. I use it with the pump because I know how many pumps it takes to fill the drive. I used to fill with a garden pump, but a lot of times (probably headed for another cold one) it would run out and I didnt catch it. Tried timing it and that depends on the amount of psi in the canister. You have to fill the canister and becareful not to get any dirt in it.. Not that big of deal, but having a 5gal pale eliminates that. Either way, the fitting is the key to it. With the quick disconnect you can uncouple and let the pressure equalize and have a nice little handle to unscrew and get that plug in without being tied to a hose. The SS nut is a dust cap so you can plug the fitting back into the hose and not loose it or the oring and it keeps the crud out.

I have sold these to marinas and they like having two fittings so they can start filling the second drive while the first one equalizes. PM me if you are intersted in either the whole set up or just fittings..

Hope this helps.

Me too, the 5 gal pail is the way to go.

I really like your quick connect coupler. I need to get one!

Garden sprayer made by Chapin light blue in color can see the oil level in it at all times metal tire valve installed in top so there is no pumping comes with its own pressure release valve set at 45 psi works great not a lot of $$$

Thanks for all of the replies. Do any of you have a favorite place to buy the merc or quicksilver gear lube in bulk?
