I have a 29' Scarab with the a 12" stelings box and a standard length bravo, the problem is the box is set a nuetral so the drive is about 1" lower than stock
. My question is how do I go about raising the box? I would like to go at least 2" or 3" if its possible. Is this something I could do myself? Just hate to spend the $ on a new short lower if I don't have to.

Fast22, didnīt you just post in a previous thread that you have an Imco box?!
Anyway. What height is your drive at? Propshaft to transom parallel to each other, what is the height difference? As you have obviously established, the extension box will push the drive into deeper water. Check which postion the transom assembly is bolted to the box at, but measure the above mentioned dimension, as well.
The first step is always to get the standard drive up as high as possible, before messing with a shorty. Nosecone shaped shortíes donīt generally work at all well (they are slower) on settups that are too low in the water anyway (and at speeds below 80 mph).
