Default Imco Scx Drives

Anyone have any experince or know anyone with the new imco scx drives. What hp can they handle and cost.

I haven't heard of any failures, but I did hear that they lost 3-4 mph over a xr
This is just what I heard 2nd hand from someone who sells them.

I sell them. They are bigger than a B1 & still shiftable. They are Rated to 900hp. However there is no warranty on them unless you buy it as part of an engine package with a Teague or Ilmor which we also sell. Then the warranties still differ. The 900hp with package gets a 3mo ltd warr, the 800hp a 6mo warr & anything 700 & below a 1 yr ltd warr. The drive holds 5qts of oil & requires a bigger resivoir than the merc B1. ALso you would need a gimble helmet to accept the SCX into your stock B1 transom assmbly, all of which are sold separately.. Oh yeah, the drive also is -2" high compared to a b1, but an be ordered or spaced down more.. If you need more info or a # email / pm me.. Jamie
