Default TRS Drive Oil

Going to replace the oil in my drives. I am using Valvoline Syn Racing oil in the engines & thought about using their High Perf 80w-90 or SynPower 75w-90 gear oil in the drives. Thoughts on either of these two or other suggestions?

Also how much is needed for a pair?

Ive always used mobil 1 75-90, royal purple 75-90, or amsoil 75-90. You'll need 8 quarts to do both drives.

Default Yup

USE THE BLUE. It's freaking high dollar, but it works. Bout $11 per quart at the store, u need 4 quarts. Essentially, it's like 75-80 wt gear oil, but don't use synthetic.

I just changed over to the Merc Hi-perf gear oil (blue in color) in my TRS drive. It took about 3qts and then I had to buy a 4th quart to top of the drive and fill the over flow tank.
