I also had a mold made to produce the rubber boots if anyone needs them for the Kaama drives

So how did your boots fit ,like the originals. And how much for one? I'm sure there will be quite a few kaama owners asking.

The fit was good,had the boat stored in the sun,they weather cracked so I will have to change the rubber type,they only lasted two years

How many boots did you have made? I am thinking of having a mold made because I have one bad that has a pin hole leak in it that will probably get worse. Finding someone to run the mold and make the parts is my hold up, having the mold made is the easy part for me.

Ok after a little warmth I am able to staighten this out a bit.
I believe the drive are underdriven at 1: 1.25 approx. 8% right?
Inner shaft turns 1.25 rev when the prop turns once.
The stamping on the props indicate 34 pitchX 18'' Tach was below 4000 at 80mph approx.
They are not counter rotating but do spin clockwise and counter clockwise.
I found faulty tachs among other problems. I will post up some new speed / rpms asap if it doesnt rain tomorrow.

i have seen guys cut up truck inner tubes and use them for the outside boot's..it worked really well!

No sorry from WI. I bought from Jarrod, could be the same guy though. He was from quad cities,,, in davenport I think.
I am going through it now and trying to get'er settled. Got her up to 80+ but WOW it porpuses bad at that speed. I found a crack in one of the props and am in need of some help, sure would think that upper 90's should be attainable.
