Going from Bmax's to the Arnesons should be 15-20mph right there. Then dialing it up from about 750HP to 850HP..... the sky's the limit.
There is a small recovery taking place in the tooling industry right now.
If things would just pick up a little more quickly, $$$...I would be unbolting Bmax's as you read this.

With notched transom, glass work required. I'm not willing to go there. Otherwise Arneson would be an excellent fit for my needs.

Just look at how much speed people are loosing when they put a BMax in place of a Bravo. Imagine getting that back and then some.

I lost 3 mph going to a BMax and I'm running 11% slip.

Like I said, if I had money to throw around it would be fun to go 100 mph in a 36' Apache..

how many "36' Apache" bravo conversions have you done and what were the results?

ZERO... How many 36' Apache's were ever made?? I've only heard of them never seen one even but they have the same basic shape as all the others, 24 degree deadrise, and 36' OAL with a 12-13 degree transom. Would not expect things to be any different on them than any other 36' V hull.

Depends upon the height of the notch. For example, the notch height on the 28' Eliminators so so little that they do not present a problem. I've found that I can't say anything is set in stone as there as so many different configurations of boats out there.

They made about 160 give/take. If you want exact numbers I'll put you in touch with Bob Saccenti.

I'll send you and PM so we can get started on the project.

I'm looking forward to seeing my cruise speed increasing from 63 mph @ 3600 rpms up to 78 mph and a top speed of 88 increasing to 98 mph.

I'll send you the details so we can get started.

You are right, on most applications. however due to the initial drive height on my Kryptonite, the engine would have to be dropped between 3 and 5" in order to get the Arneson to the right level in relation to the bottom. The Arneson conversion requires a height of 13" for the crank, mine is more like 18" right now, so it woudl have to glassed and a new hole cut. I have no notch.

Rik and I already discussed it. I am just worried that it woudlnt work well on a single engine vee application. At 750+hp, I am over the limit for my Imco SC.

I want that rooster on my boat! If that formula likes the arneson then my baja should also! Thanks for the great video.
