I can use a straight edge and get an exact measurement for you this weekend, but I think that mine are within a half inch of being even with the running surface at neutral trim. 1988 Cig Top Gun with a notched transom. No issues whatsoever getting on plane

but your sixes with a notched transom are way further back from the running surface than my 4's on boxes without a notch

Where are your drives at? I'm curious as I raised mine a few years ago to nearly even, but may lower back down one inch for more bow lift at cruising speed. Also, are those water pickups under the hull?

Finally got down to the boat with a straightedge the other night. My drives are 1" above the hull.

That is an aggressive "x" for a flat bottom Cigarette. These are just pleasure boats........right?
