Default Arneson trial run!

I took 40 minutes of video and unfortunately most of it was not viewable because of condensation on the lens of the water tight compartment. Next time, I'll put the vented cover on.

In the video, I was between 55 - 75 GPS. I was concentrating on maneuvering the drives and tabs and feeling and seeing on how the boat reacted. There was plenty throttle left.

Hopefully, I'll get out again this year and do a better job of locating and securing my Go Pro.

The Arneson's felt good, stable and steady. In order to maintain similar stability, the drives and tabs are in a completely different position. The boat is now more sensitive to the tab movements. This is probably due to the fact that the Arnesons create less "drive" drag in the water.

That video is AWESOME! Thanks for taking the time to share with us.

Always wondered how surface drives handled in rough water and it looks like they stay hooked up, ready for more! The rooster looks massive! Just the amount of water being thrown is crazy, obviously tabs down drives up would make it look taller but its still HUGE! Turns looks easy and smooth. I am jelous!

Nice formula by the way. I like the 4 bolster seating. Always wanted it in my baja but also like the huge dance floor in my cockpit.

No kidding, the question is will he still be able to swim from the back?

Looking forward to a video!!

Hey those 4" more than XR's on boxes don't matter much.

Hmmm, the guy at our local beach who did it back in 08' or '09, did not look like he enjoyed it. But each to their own, right

Thanks for posting the video. I bet it is nice knowing that you don't have to worry about your drives breaking!
