Another great vid. Season is over here as well. Cleaning and polishing boat this weekend.

I know you're still getting used to the new setup and dialing in. But what is the best number you've seen so far with the new setup?

Season is over for me as well. I may have some Arnesons on my boat next year. Do you have any video of you getting on plane? Do you think the 5 blade 31 pitch props are perfect for your power/boat? Or do you think you have too little or too much pitch? What is your RPM at WOT? Since my 1994 Cigarette Top Gun is similar to yours, I am trying to figure out what prop I will need. I know you can get some used 4 blades at a good price. New 5 blades are $5200 a piece.

I've concentrated on finding the best tab and drive positions to quickly get on plane. I was running consistently in the low 80's. The best I saw was a little over 84 GPS and I know there is more there. With the XR's the best I ever got was 83 GPS.

I think I have a planing video. If so I'll post. It will probably take you more time to get on plane. Sometimes I got lucky and got on plane fairly quickly. The proper drive and tab positions in relation to the water conditions matters more with the Arnesons vs the XR's.

As far as props I'm not sure. It might be worth trying 4 blades. I do know there are some 382's running 4 blades with good results.

Extremely bad, I don't ever remember having "green splats" all over the front of the boat.

It looks great in the rooster though!

2006 was one of the hottest summers ever and it was not as bad as this year. We ever saw beach closures in NY this year. Al Gore was right all along????
