merc puts the xr drive behind the sc600.i think depending on how u treat them,xr will work for u.i can hook u up with a friend of mine who is going to be selling his imco sd drives,he is upgrading to 1150 hp and is going to upgrade to bmax drives.

Nice come back, way don't you post some facts about what you know happen to the broken bmax you speak of and I will tell you what happen and why. This forum is to help people not to call names like teenagers. Running 650hp in a small Baja is not even close to running 850-1000hp in a 13-16000 lb boat as far as drives are concerned.

Another option is George at All American Drives. He builds a modified Bravo guaranteed to handle 750hp.

Until you know what your talking about I wouldn't be talking chit about Bmax. The new Bmax or a freshly rebuilt one is full of updates that has addressed and corrected all of the previous problems with the drives. John has gone to great strides to build a quality product and for those of you that think the Bmax is just a glorified Bravo, you need to take a serious close look at one and you will clearly see the difference. I am running a pair of them in my 38 PP behind 607cid NA / 750hp mills. They have been updated and rebuilt by The Bravo Shop and are working flawlessly.
