I have a 38 top gun with high x that I been having the same problem . turning in is better but lost 3-4 mph . now turning out. I wind it up to 4500 rpm until it reaches 20mph then I back off throttles to 3000 rpm it catches. then quickly accelerate and it gets right on plane .if its rough out I have to go with the following sea. then turn back once on plane. bravo style 6 blade herings

I do use tabs about half down. More makes it worse. I will try the little push method this weekend. If i can have stiff wind at my back it helps quite a bit. I am tempted to install prop aerators i would just hate to make it possibly worse. Mine will not get on plane at all with the tabs down. Have you tried pulling them up? |
Try the tabs neutral, first time I had mine out the tabs were 1/3 down and the props would blow out, so I set them in the neutral position and it came up, nosed over like butta

I was out at the SCOPE poker run this weekend in San Diego and tried a few things recommended here and so far patience is the only thing working lol. But I did have an awesome time boating down there.
