All my numbers are from the stern powr Manual. My drive is the
mx 07. It allready has the high speed bullet type lower. Looks like a supper speed master lower. No gears inside for shifting. Uses a transmission.
Outonsafari. Id say then that I'm right in the ballpark at 5.5" propshaft depth with my 16.5" cleaver wheel. I hope lol.
Billybob. My drive has a bullet nose cone on the front and a long tail cone. Also your kinda comparing apples to oranges. With two different type hulls. Any changes in the running surface, ride plate versus delta pad , different lifting rails. All come into play with how any given hull will act with different drive heights. Thanks for the info though. I love how many opinions there are. Everyone has so much personal experience on this forum. Makes me love what I do for a living even more!!!

Do you guys think that the hin Pdca001 5m73L. Means that this hull was the first one from p&d clasic??? Just sanded the spot where I figured the hull number would be and that was what I found. Lol. How cool would that be.

Urs is probably creating more lift then mine but prop shaft depth is about the same and that's where these drives don't work . This is why I'm tryin to raise mine to get it out of the water.
I have basically 3 105 (SP)series drives and 2 107 (SSP)series drives ( nose cones are the same only bearing caps are different)
1 of the 105s has the JTM nose cone it is a 1000 series lower with 4 Bolt bearing cap and JTM has rated it at 850 HP
These lowers look like speedmasters but are far from them ,they create a lot of drag
I wish they were more streamlined!!!!
Tryin to figure out how to post pics also???

I got a vip membership and stuff and still can't seem to post them. I think he was right when he said the file size matters. I'm not great with computers. It just seems like a lot to ask to have someone post my whole build on here. Lol
