Default Another oil question

For those on the ragged edge of Bravo use... Neo, Alisyn, Amsoil, or Redline? Or, does it matter?

I have used Amsoil Severe Gear 75/110 for years, never had a failure in my Bravo1's,,,,,,yet.
After running 8 seasons I recently pulled both to freshen them, all internal parts look great,

Amsoil Severe Gear works so well I am not going to jump around trying something different.

I used Amsoil Severe Gear for 1 season (2 oil changes per season). I started having trouble with a cone clutch slipping, almost immediately. I went back to Merc oil and after the first oil change, the cone clutch stopped slipping. Now, I'm sure the cone clutch was not in optimum condition - but in case someone has this problem, it might be that the oil is too slick. This problem only affected 1 drive, so I'm confident it was not the oil. I use Amsoil Dominator 15W-50 in engines and have for years.

Here's what i have done for 20 years.Never hurt a drive.
900hp blown Eliminator Daytona 27 Bravo XR,racing 1 hour wide open depending on conditions.6 races a year 3 years.
My avatar pic,632 cubers 850HP XR Bravo's Racing,3 years.Same drives but now with 525's.
Blown 502 maybe 520hp Stinger 222 wait for it, in front of a Alpha.Pleasure boat. Not a lot of use.
Fastlane 40 Bravo 1's.Blown unblown 454's,502,s.
I know there will be doubter's but i have never hurt a drive.
Merc HP oil with 3/4 litre of Lucas oil additive. That thick honey oil additive.Maybe cost's a bit of HP.
Also maybe i've just been lucky.Easy up and down.

Curious to know why owners are using the Amsoil Severe Gear, which is a land machine based product over Amsoil's Synthetic Marine Gear Lube?
