It depends if it got 10 psi at the inlet side or 40 psi. It's just rotating at that point. You can weld or epoxy up the inlet on the imco to suit your needs. You might notice a burned look around the inlet if your speeds are high. Looks like it's getting sand blasted. A 22-25 pound relief tee'd in 1/2 way through system would be good also. About the seapump. If your boat was always at speed. You wouldn't need a seapump.

I blew two hoses just after the pump. Then I installed a pressure relief valve in the intake manifold, and haven't had an issue since.

There are several opinions on where to install the relief valves. Should be able to do a search on here to find them.

I plan on putting the imco lowers on my uppers this Saturday when we get them off the boat. My question is douse the bravo1 lower and the imco lower use the same o rings. I didn't order new ones from imco but my local shop stocks the bravo 1 o rings. Before I buy them will they work or should I get them though imco

Same o rings. Check the bolt that hold the front zinc on the upper. Some time they stick down too far and hit the Imco. You can also plug the speedo port in the imco with a flush Allen pipe plug. Brass or stainless.
