Has anyone put on an imco lower on a Pantera, Superboat, Sunsation, Pyhton, etc 24x7 hull? I have some upgraded power (640hp bravo x upper, stock lower) on my Sunny and wondered about making it more efficient. Follow up question would be standard, -1, or -2? The lower is close to needing to be changed anyway and for the money/strength might as well go with the imco.

Do you know what your X dimension is ?
I put a -2 Imco on my 24 Python.
The X is set at 18" but there is a 12 ext box.
Due to excessive slip at mid range i put a 1" spacer back in, also the Imco water pickup is easy to plug with weeds.
For boating in lake Erie i just run a standard length drive.

Thanks for the info on yours. My x dim is 15" but would be 18" except for its a sunsation and has a flatened hull at the back. Im not worried about weeds as im in northen lake mich not really a problem round here. From what im hearing though, might run into the same slip issue as you with the -1 due to the flattened hull.

Flattened hull at the back?? like a little delta pad?? If you truely are 15" measured from the outside pad bottom, you are really deep.... I (22x7 same basic hull ) just cut my X at 18" up from the pad.
