Default Bravo XR Burnt Oil

Long story short. AADS rebuild both drives last year. Have 50 hours on them. Drives were fine last year, no signs of burnt oil. This year checked the reservoirs and one is completely black. Pics below are comparison of good vs bad. We are running the neo oil as recommended. Also have imco drive showers.

Default Aads

I would call George Tmrw am. He has always called me back.
Did he inspect them after one season? (Offers for free)
Just curious but what stage rebuild did you do? How many HP you running.
He had up to stage 4, until he did mine late last fall, now there is a stage 5 (Everything he offers and a drive guardian)

I text him last night when I discovered the issue. Will try giving him a call. Was gonna see if he could talk today so I can go down to the boat. Pull magnets and do an inspection. If they have to go back to MI would also like to pull the drive today...

these are stage I or II...I forget.

engines = 500efi (non modified)

"neo oil"
I just bought oil direct from George, but it came in a bottle with no label. $85.00

I wonder if its the same stuff.

Best of luck, George stands behind his work so at least you are in good hands!

Pulled magnet. Didn’t like what I saw. Drive was shipped back to AADS yesterday. See what they find.
