No this has not been resolved. Sent my drive to AADS last October. Still waiting for it to rebuilt and shipped so I can go boating...little disappointing

another update...drive is shipping today. should have it later this week. hoping to be on the water in 1.5 weeks.

as an aside...

even though we’ve had bad luck on the rebuilds, dealing with AADS has been a pleasure. Goerge never ducks calls, returns calls timely, honors his word, etc. he runs a pretty tight ship and would def do business again.

Not much of an update but...Installed drive saturday. Ran the boat for about 1.5-2 hours yesterday. Given there isn’t much oil exchange between reservoir and drive...I checked oil color using the top drain plug. It was still greenish/blueish in color. Will keep running for the prescribed 10-12 hours and monitor oil color after every run.

Note: it took about 6-7 hours to notice a significant color difference last time. So we will continue to monitor.

Pardon my ignorance but...are these gears made from a sintered material...or cut on a hob? They don't have the 'look' of cut gears, to me.

xr gears are net forged.
