rubber pipe cap with hose clamp...maybe put some bellows adhesive on to seal it in.

There’s 2 holes exiting a bravo transom assembly at the 4 and 7 o’clock positions that lead to the exhaust port. You would have to seal those off also.

Bummer about the two holes.Never had to go in that far with my bravo from years ago. Just drive replacement few times. Doh ! Finally found a pic. You should be able to click and expand.

New discovery....... when I attempted to raise the drives, the leaky side blew out large gobs of oil straight from hydraulic lines. Lines are intact. Suspect a major problem with the hydraulic Manifold at the bottom of the gimbal housing. Any similar experiences or thoughts?

I suppose the manifold could be leaking...more likely leaking from the crimp on the hydraulic hose or the tube cracked off the fitting. Atleast that’s what happened on our fastech 292.

Same thing happened to me last year. The manifold rotted, and the hose blew off. Not a terrible fix. Change the mercathode while you are there. It has to come off anyway
