Did a small update to my audio setup. The boat currently had the following..

Two 8" DS18 Hydros
Two 6.5" DS18 Hydros
Two 10" JL M3 Subwoofers
Skar - 800w rms Monoblock
Skar - 500w rms 4 Channel

This did provide great sound but all of my speaker locations were pretty low in the boat so getting the sound outside was a challenge.

So for the updates I added two additional 6.5" Hydros mounted next to the top bolster seats and two 10" Ds18 Hydro speakers mounted next to my JL Audio subs. I got rid of the 4 channel amp and went with an 8 channel providing roughly 75rms per channel.
Never thought I would be throwing 10 speakers in the cockpit but why not lol.

nex time you might consider duetch connector bulk head fittings for the LEDs wiring. works fine with the terminal cups, but the less holes in the enclosure the better. here's how i did a set up for a client. try raptor liner on amazon, looks better than bilge paint. but the resin is a great idea.

Thanks for the tips. Yes after drilling both holes for the wire terminals I had some regret. Especially how much time i put into sealing everything really good. I will look into that raptor liner. The subs already sound 10x better than when everything was free air. I am wondering if it would be worth it to install some passive radiators on these on the back side for some more volume.

That dont make a passive radiator big enough for that. They would have to be like 40 inches. or 4 10 inch.

I didn't realize the driver to radiator ratio was that drastic.
