I think it will let you run a bit more agressive x and still get on plane, but that's it

put the imco cav plates on, planing was noticably better, put me into the acceptable slippage range with the labbed 34" maximus with one inch of diffuser missing.

Will sell my 30's (after they've been tested by stangjeeper) then either cut a deal for these used props or just buy new 34 Maximus.

Got caught in about 12 miles of t-strom yesterday, liking the rain-x'd canopies

Any one have pics of the imco cavitation plates. I am trying to dial in a 22 Daytona for speed. 03 model 496 ho. runs 82 with a 28 labed but with alot of porpoise. The boat has a high x. I would be happy to get rid of the porpoise and see 85 to 86

I would not be able to get pics for a while, look at transom shots of Daytona's in the classifieds, many have them- do you have an imco lower, if stock lower i don't think it would do you any good.

The cav plates on the drive will not fix your issue. You need hull extensions off the bottom of the tunnel. look at the pics of my old 25 hull cavitation plates.

Man I miss the speed of that lil boat.

Dam that is a dead ringer for my boat. I still need to talk to you about your hyd steering as I have a kit that will be here tomorrow.
