The picture was to show the size of the IMCO cavitation plate.

The piece on top was used for aerating some larger props I was running. Similar to what some do on their #6s.

Thats what I thought. Did you buy that piece or build it yourself? The aerator that is.

I had a friend make the top piece. This will only work with the shortie because you have to remove the plate on the bottom side and make custom piece for the air to get in front of the prop. The shortie has an open cavity. Look at a #6 and you will see what I mean.

I made about 10 of the bottom pieces to get the right amount of air to the prop. It was different for each prop I tried and I finally put it too rest. My best setup was about 1.5" square inches of opening about 3/8th of an inch from the blades. Don't get too close to the blades because they flex quite a bit.

Cattitude - I have been looking at your boat in the clasified's
Why are you selling it?
I am seriously thinking about a 30 Daytona.
I want to downsize a little.

You know...... that's a good question. We went to the poker run at Grand lake yesterday, I've been there a dozen+ times and there was more traffic slop/cruiser wakes than ever before, and the boat was ran thorugh it/over it very well.

That said, I'm getting a divorce, and it's more boat than i need for the lake I live on and boat 90% of the time. A 26 would be perfect for me, but when i bought it I went larger to get the larger cabin for my wife.

If I end up keeping it, I'll get over it, but I'd rather have a 26 and less debt

Sorry to hear about your divorse. Been there done that.
I think your boat is beutiful.
I am actually looking for a boat just like yours with basically stock motors so that I can swap out my 650 HP ones.
OH and I have IMCO 2" shorties also.

I think it'll run the 2" shorties with a full dia Maximus, but I went with 1" as I wanted to avoid needing a tab. There was another 30 in the classifieds with no power, or sell the engines from mine, just barely over 100 hrs now

Pick up Cattitude's 30, sell the engines and the shorties to recoupe some cash and youll have a nice 120+ mph ride for under $95K
