@skydog....Keep up the good work yourself...and I got a few customers with some pretty radical STI's that I built...
@bdubs...it has been a while and yes the 2J is an amazing motor, that engine in my boat has been thru some serious trial and errors and its still the original parts and components that were installed from day 1...over winter I do plan on going thru it just top be sure everything is on the up and up. As far as the heat question, the wrap is ok, I just built a smaller style exhaust manifold which I do plan on water cooling...
@GPM....Yes I do my own wrenching...everything from design and blueprinting, to cylinder head porting, engine building and all custom fabrication is done by myself...as far as HP ive never dynoed it...I have spoken to my local machine shop to see if we can definitely do it one of these days...but in some sort of estimate I would say in the 950-1000hp range...dont hold mee to it, thats an educated guess based on speed and boat size, weight, gearing, prop pitch etc, etc, etc...
@engineermike...I do plan on water jacketing the complete exhaust...I did just fabricate a smaller exhaust manifold to do so...but had ran out of time prior to the LOTO Shootout and had to assemble it to m ake the race...hopefully soon I can get to it....And those turbo ski's are taking off...got one that im working on now as well...

Thank u man!! Yea I for one when got in to inbourds could not understand why there were not Turbos for power adders ever where. Then I see merc finaly did, and you!!

Stock and piggy back in to that with like a rb3 or? Where do u read/tune boost from a map sensor? What kind of boost controller? So easy to turn boost up too!!!!Super cool man and outdrives should love the power delivery of a turbo!!!

I, personally, like the safety of a stock ECU, so I used an AEM F/IC-4 and installed it in a sealed bock with bulkhead connectors. Then, I swapped over to an AEM F/IC all-terrain, which is waterproof and shock-proof. The factory MAP sensor fed a signal to the factory ECU, but I clamped the signal at 7 psi so the injector signal wouldn't go static open (the F/IC can't measure a PW if it's static open). The F/IC had it's own on-board MAP sensor that would take over the fueling above 7 psi. I hope I'm explaining this well. Anyway, I replaced the stock 39# injectors with 62's. I just ran the boost on the WG spring, as it was tuned to run max safe boost while also running just short of the rev-limiter.

I ran one and it sounded crazy between your legs. However, I had a problem with it freezing up. It seems that everything in the engine compartment of a PWC stays very humid and wet, so moving metal-on-metal parts corrode and stick.

For sure man boats are hard on parts!!!Boat is 91 pump. Never had a mountain motor with boost before. Just nuts for set up they just don't care, so much tq they just move out weight or no weight in boat. All most to easy Hahaha Well good luck man be safe.
Skydog. P.S. So I bet it has a nice factory knock sensor set up too? Nice nice!!!

Hey Guys....well for starters I run a Haltech EFI Fuel management system, a complete standalone which is tuned by Laptop and I do run a 3 bar map sensor set up. As far as a boost controller im using a manual...I do have a electric one but havnt installed it yet...waiting till I get all the bugs worked out. Even withy the manual I use about 15 psi to get on plane and slow speed cruising and then ramp it up....on that particular run I was running 33PSI...
I run E85 in my boat and fuel is fed via 160lb injectors pumped from a Weldon 2345 Fuel pump!!
