Jon: Both my 40 and 42 were at Monroe Boat Club for the GLOPRA races during that time period. I do have some pictures, however, they are at home and I'm in Florida on vacation. I'll post them when I get home. Bill

My very first boat in 1979 was a 1975 24 excaliber , built in sarasota. Black sides, white deck and below water line.. brown "fake suede" vynil interior, mercruiser 454 375 HP, TRS drive, Hynautic steering mounted inside the boat, thru hull exhaust... I was very cool in it's day.. would love to know what happened to it.. It had gold leaf lettering on the side "MOTOR CITY SHAKEDOWN". last seen by me on northern lake st clair in about 1990...

does the 42' eagle share the same bottom as a 38'?
I have measured from transom to front and it is only 38'.
The rear has "add ons" that are molded to the cap.
Kinda like they took the 38'bottom and made an extended cap for it?
which would make it 42' over all...

What do you think?
