Hi guys, I'm new to this site. Grant Allen (Mr.Excal) shared it with me and I'm the owner of a 1979 24' "Long Deck" serial number NAP04439M79J. We've had this boat in our family since it was new. My family built the Excalibur cars in West Allis, Wisconsin (Milwaukee area) and we licensed the name to Bill Farmer to use in the boat industry. In return we received one of the 24' boats. It is nice to know there is still a following out there for these special boats. As soon as I can figure out how to post photos, I will.

Ran across this thread while looking for information regarding Chris Craft Stingers. I'm the owner of www.chriscraftstingers.com and I'm looking for all historical info on the Stingers in order to create a comprehensive history for them. Would be interested in hearing more about how Chris Craft got the molds and what happened to them. Please feel free to email me at [email protected].

Hey I can"t beleive their are so many Excaliburs out there still running I thought I had somthing special.
1980 27ft low deck outboad with twin 200 mercs. GPS reads 72 mph lite on fuel with 2 people on board.
As long as we are asking questions has anyone ever run one of these with big power? I'm about to put a pair of 300x mercs on mine. Here's a couple pics from a few weeks ago.

Hello,
First of all, I want to apologize for my bad English but I'm French.
Congratulations for this topic and all the fans of this brand.
Maybe some people here could tell me more about my boat.
I bought last year a "Scarab 27' Sport" in France. The boat have a fantastic hull for me and a nice deck for mi wife.
I did some research and I found only one other boat like mine, in Italy (I brought mine in France but it also came from Italy, there are many Scarab Italy).
I start this topic (Scarab 27' Sport information) in the Scarab section of OSO but I didn't have many help. I also start the same topic on another forum and an owner of Excalibur told me that my hull was the same as his 27 '.
I made a lot of research and I have now learned the story of Ecalibur.
Does anyone here have pictures or could inform me about the 27' Opensport ? Is It The Center Console model ?
My Wellcraft has the HIN PBI0027860029 (27 ', year 1986 and hull # 29). PBI is "Paradise Boat Inc." In Miami FL, someone knows ?
Here is after I finished his refit.

Thank you in advance, any information will be useful.
Best Regards.

That exact same excalibur open console design pictured above is sitting in the back of brownell boat yard in Mattapoisette MA. I noticed it sitting their and unfortunately after lifting the rear most floorboard up i found the boat to be filled with water.. damn shame too.. it had a pair of mercs on it and has probably been sitting there since the mid eightys.
