ON/OFF does work well, but does attack your trailer.
So what I do is cut the on/off by approximately 50 percent with water. Does not seem to attack the trailer as much, and does get rid of the brownish color on the hull. I trailer the boat so it is not sitting in the water very long. The brownish color starts comming immediately. I typically will use the boat for three days in a row then have to treat it again. I honestly feel with the acid based products you make the hull more suseptable to the brown color. I have found that the areas on the hull that I have painted with Imron are not affected by the brown color , only the bottom where the original gelcoat is gets discolored. I have tried different waxes etc and it still gets brown.

I agree with AngerMgmt NuHull !! it is a safer balanced product. Not strong acids, will not make your gelcoat suffer as much as other products I have used. Will need to wax in between uses. But works on the hard stuff!! Check out the thread, Black Stain on Gel from gas vent for more info.

Biokleen Oxidation Remover for the boat bottom, Biokleen Hull & Fiberglass to remove water spots from the stainless and fiberglass. Works great and all biodegradeable.
