Default Pearl white on a topgun?

Any issues, thoughts or concerns painting the whole boat pearl white? I don't see pearl often so curious if there is something I'm not considering.

If that’s what you want to see when you look at it. Go for it. I’ve certainly seen hell of a lot uglier colors than that. Lol. Clean n basic. Go for it

Can't think of any reason why not. I like simple white boats and Pearl White is the new white. Look how popular it is on cars.

Pearl paints are generally pretty expensive. It would be very hard to match the pearl exactly if it needed repaired.
I do think pearl white would cool on TG

Not true with white pearl. Its no different with a car that was damaged you have to blend the paint. Theres no such thing as to panel painting and having it a perfect match especially something that the sun beats on . I own a collision shop and we have no problen painting and matching Pearl white or any other color for that matter. Just my opion tho

I think that is a good color. My 09 tahoe is Pearl and i have had to fix a few issues because of Other idiots and they always seem to match/ fade it well at the paint shop.
I am looking for new Denali now and I want Pearl white again.

The wrap on my fountain is a pearl white and it looks pretty cool out in the sun. I didn't pick it so I cant take the credit for it because the wrap was on the boat when I got it.

Maybe Glassdave will chime in. I had visions of this and was steered away from it.

It's not like a car, big long areas to cover with a uniform "lay" of the paint. Similar to painting Silver probably. You actually don't see that many all Silver boats either. Big Silver Cat / Tyson comes to mind, not a whole lot of other boats in solid pearl or silver.

I believe it's a very high end paint job, which probably takes 2 or 3 times longer than painting a simple solid. Prob a $30K or more paint job on a Top Gun? (done properly, by a high end shop)
