looking at 40 1982 help
the boat has 454s trs drives that need seals ,boat could use paint cockpit seats are2yrs old flooring is the old carpet no props The guy that owned it last said it would do 45mph 
at 4600rpm cleaver props I would think mirage maybe 21p or 23p the motors are crate 425 long blocks,gils the boat came from lake winn NH bank owns it now its red,white flat deck would 15000 be to low the guy that bought it payed 22000last yr the bank loaned him 29000 so what should I look for?ANY ONE now this boat thanks art

Tough call on this one Air Time. I guess I would try to low-ball an offer and see what the response is. Sounds like it may need some work and $$$ fixing up. Consider that TRS parts are getting harder to find.
I don't under stand why the bank loaned him $29,000 if he only paid $22,000 for it?!? Maybe I misunderstood you, but something here doesn't make sense to me.
Is it a repo? If they loaned him $29,000 and he re-paid $22,000 you should be able to take it for $7,000.

I guess when he had the boat surveyed it was 60,000 worth he told the bank we was putting down 50% or something needed like 30,000 they said no problem 
and I was told he paid 22,000 so the dumb bank must be owed like 29 ,000 or so the marine asked me what I thought it was worth thats when Ithought about buying it. but I have a 24ft baja 88 with 647hp that I havebeen up dating since last year kind da like mr audiofm jon who I thought I would here from I HAVE NO MONEY SITTING A AROUND RIGHT NOW TOO, I WAITING ON COMP COME TO THE PLATE ON MY KNEE OPERATION IN THE NEXT FEW WEEKS but I COULD TAKE A SMALL EQUITY LOAN OR FIRE SALE the baja the new bolsters are worth 3000, new MM steering gimble hd ring so on the motor is worth 15,000 a lone 20hrs over 627 tq but then I wouldn't have anything big enough to tow 2004explorer v8 limited,95 3/4 van 99 jeep sahara
