Replacement Depth Finder
#1
My depth finder quit working.
It wasn't the original one and never worked all that great anyway, but now I've got nothing.
Has anybody had a good experience with a replacement unit? I'd prefer something that would mount in the stock location on the control panel.

The unit Formula uses now says Teleflex, but it's just a Humminbird HDR 600 made in good ol Alabama
About $100 . They used to use the Lowrance 3500,now it's the LST3800 that includes water temp, maybe $150.West Marine or BassProShops or most any marine supply house has them.I would go with the Humminbird,it's cheap.works well, and helps Alabama a little I suppose
Get the one with puck transducer,it comes with epoxy to glue inside the hull.

Thanks for the info. Is there something special about the epoxy they use to glue the puck to the hull? I think I found my problem - the puck was just laying on the bottom no longer glued.
I used some 5200 to re-attach it but it doesn't work as good as it used to.
