New Taco Rub Rail
3 Attachment(s)
Pulled the factory black rub rail off and replaced it with Taco's 2 piece Rigid Base and Vinyl insert. Very time consuming but worth it.

Thanks dg,
It was a one-owner boat w/ 242 hours when I purchased her in 2004. But it's like every boat....a work in progress! This was my last undertaking in March 2006. |
Thats a plan for my 357. Where did you get the rub rail?

Very cool. Looks good in the pics for sure!
So that's about $5/ft for the rail + insert before S&H. Do they really get you for $115 freight? Once you add up the rail and insert + S&H, I wonder how it would compare with the OEM White/Stainless from Formula? Somebody here did that...haven't been able to find the thread...but didn't share costs... |

Last I heard, Taco supplies Formula's Rub Rail and has since 1996.
I did poke around on Taco's site at the stainless stuff. I guess the shape/dimensions are a little different than what you used. I also learned Taco's HQ is right here in south Florida...gotta find a "friendly" local distributor...:evilb: |
