we've seen 75 w/ 1/2 tank gas, 4 people on board & all the items carried along for a day trip.

I think somewhere @ 78 is the best the boat has ever seen.

353 w/ 496's. One day this fall when stars and moon aligned, the wind was at my back and lake had nice small chop, I hit 74.5 mph on gps. Most every other day it's 71-72ish

exactly my experience.

though my boat makes it's fastest pass of the season, every season, on launch day. wierd but true. this is always with a full bag of gas too.
