Just reaching for insults now aren't you? Running out of ammo? Continue to take things out of context, and add your twist to them. That’s how you roll. Piss everyone off so you can enjoy your time boating ALONE. That’s what you like to do anyways…Well like Burger King. Have it Your Way. Can't find anything relevant to bring up about this last summer, so dip into the past...Sounds WAY to familiar.
Attack and insult the Race boat and Team. Go ahead, drink another bourbon and stay up late tonight thinking about how you'll do it. You've never raced...Like I said, your opinion is worthless. I'm sure you are better then anyone out there. But you don’t have the balls to do it. (I’m sure you will tell us all that you do, but don’t desire to) But you WILL have a negative opinion about us. Save it. As for Doug, he makes the decisions on the Team. It was our First year, it’s called a learning curve. He respects my opinion. Yes, I may have done some things differently, not my call.
Continue to alienate yourself from the few that will even socialize with you and it's going to be a lonely summer in 2009. Tell Samantha that she is still welcome. You, on the other hand, have once again…taken it too far.
Check!

Well Dave here's a view from this end of the stick.
Seems to be fine for you to stir things up, and when the chit comes back and I give it a stir then I'm a a$$hole. You constantly downgrade my choice in boats, as do some others here, and the only real reason I can come up with is cause it's not the same as yours. Excuse me cause it's a POS, built by a short guy having a bad hair day, short must have carried into his design cause the beak shortens all the Fountains into little boats not fit for men of real stature. Maybe that's why I like the fit, being a small pile of chit just like him. They all leave the factory full of build chit and that is likely the only reason they weigh close to comparable models from other builders. They are built, rigged, even painted by retarded southern folks to a standard far below the industry. Maybe that's another reason I like them, we retards all have the same inflated view of the product. Fountains all ride like chit, handle like chit, look like chit, don't hold up for chit, and are owned by "Worthless" people that are just plain chit. In stark contrast to your brand. I apologize, I just can't help the fact that I fell victim to all that misleading Fountain advertising. It's happened to me twice in a row now, and I'm in fear of the fact it may someday happen again. Should I seek professional help before it's too late?
Then there's what you term "my" selective memory. Why would I be expected to remember the one time all summer, don't have the capacity beyond that, the one time that you might have (memory deal here) out run me? I must have a contagious form of selective memory cause it appears to have migrated across the boathouse. What about the rest of the summer Dave? As you worked thru boxes, shorties, spacers, props after props, even one set of mine, trying to find the best set up. Don't remember (memory thing again) myself sitting there busting your balls constantly. How many times did I honestly sit and bs with you about stuff? How many times did Samantha shoot video and pics so you could see how the boat was running? How many times did you ask stupid me how the attitude looked? Did I ever once not sit and tell you what I saw, and how it looked? Did I ever once not sit there and honestly, as a friend should, try to down play what I saw as your being somewhat discouraged in not being to reach your goal. Believe me here this is not an insult, I understand all too well that feeling. My overrated fix all lab job fell on it's face. Everything I was told, promised and led to believe went off the map in the wrong direction. Not that 3K is the end of the world, but it was very discouraging for me as well. You may have hit you're set up, good for you! And sorry I'm an a$$hole and said where's the pic, really, it's like you have never snowed me before about anything. All in good fun, of course. And when it does surface, after you send it all over and get the gang in on the newest little deal, then I'm an a$$hole cause I think you might have photoshopped the thing, now why would I ever think you would do that. Being the all in fun ball buster that you are. Pete is a little bummed over his prop deal so lets see if we can rub his nose in it a little, all in good fun, of course!
You brag up your deal and every one is supposed to understand that you are entitled. You put in a lot of effort and money, and did do everything all by yourself. We all take pride in what we have, and in what we do. I guess "we" is the wrong word here, cause when I do the same thing I just turn into that Bite Me "Worthless" Fountain Boy. Right Dave?
Sorry for being so long winded.
Yours, Just old "Worthless" Fountain Boy LOL LOL LOL

Never have...Always praised you and your boats. Go back and show me. You on the other hand...telling my friends in the boathouse, that after you go for a ride in his (My boat) Formula, come back and I'll take you for a ride in a real boat. You think that won't get back to me? You are a delusional fool. I'm just giving you more opportunity to talk behind my back there 'ol good buddy of mine. I ignored most of it, but still it ALL comes back to me. Hypocrite.

Just can't get no respect, maybe it should have been in a different place. But then there might be more rouge dissenters
someplace else. Probably a safety in numbers thing.I've been wondering why that hat hasn't been right since that weekend. Poor thing isn't used to that big a head.
As always, Fountain Boy (little guy in a little boat)
PS Thanks for the call and the tip, I do appreciate your concern. Just cross your fingers, it's a crap shoot anyway.

[QUOTE=RaggedEdge;2734209]Not much checkin to do, its listed in the book that came with the boat paint codes and all. So back to the question at hand, would you try matching the color with a different brand? Boats currently setting at Orion marine and I have someone coming over on monday to give me an estimate.

Might be worth a call to Velocity with your boat info to double check. They have switched paint a couple times over the years, I thought they we still on the PPG wagon. I honestly would be supprised that fuel would hurt Imron. It is a product aimed at real harsh service. Sometimes the book might not be correct.
In any case, you should be able to color match it in any brand. As far as one over the other, I would check with the people you chose to do the work, as well as those who make the paint you decide to use. It's done every day in body shops. Car manufacturer uses brand X, shop is set up with brand Ys system. They make the repair, all is good. Most paint systems now even have alternative formulas that allow for a shade difference one way or another. If the shop questions the match they most often will do a spray out test to verify it. Your paint is for sure cured, so there shouldn't be any issues there in my mind.
