When did you splash? Trip good? See any dead swine victims? Splashed a chit-load of Tequila down my throat in Mexico! No dead swine victims...Hence the chit-load of Tequila down my throat. No way any swiney thing was gonna live in my body! Oh, by the way, it's H1N1 not Swine Flu. Dave |

Dude, we Pond Rats aren't on the June 1st, boathouse splash schedule. The question now is who's going to splash LAST!!:evilb:
Probably me! Got the props back last week and thought about it, but just to busy with work. Looks like I shoot for Memorial Day Weekend. Oh well, I was one of the first in last year so I figure someone else can claim that this year. Besides you and Mike already beat everyone in this year. :ernaehrung004: |
AXA,
Be nice I think Bird had a thing for our spammer, visions of burying her in the blankets at the pond...:signs035: |
News Flash
Bird may be the one wrapped in a blanket.
Channel 7, Watertown, has been running a scroll tonight saying that the schools in Sandy Creek are now closed for the next two days due to suspected cases of Swine Flu. |

NPR stated this morning that on average, 36,000 people, THAT'S 36,000 PEOPLE, die each year from "regular" flu. Why is no one up in arms and closing schools, malls, airports, subways, restrooms, taxi cabs, etc, when the "regular" flu comes to town?????? |
Yeah, it's kinda crazy the way they are going about it. Nobody wants to get blamed if there is a panademic though!

Way too many 24 hr. news channels competing for the audience and the more sensationalized the story is the more folks love it and tune in. Years ago we looked to Walter Cronkite for the days events, and Walter only had enough time for the important news worthy things in his time slot. Chit like this would have no doubt ended up on the production room floor, only because they didn't have paper shreaders back then. Wear your mask, don't go near any pigs, and remember if you feel a little off a good dose of radiation will probably kill the virus. |
