Mike,

Just sent you a PM on the Sea Ray, check it out. I'm going out to install a couple ECM's and see if I can get the blown Biotch to fire up, may be a while but I'll try to call you when I get back and we can talk about it some.

You don't need to be in the loop on everything.

I heard a fountain was just an Excaliber boat with a lot of bondo on the bottom.

Wax the front of that tub it makes the dung come off a lot easier. I didnt realise the dung actually came off and landed on the boats that I pass.

Started the boat the other day and had a clattering sound. found the exhaust resonator had blew back into the exhaust flapper in the thru hull tube. One side actually was holding the flap closed while the other was stuck at about half way. So question is do I throw away the resonators or fix them?

I guess I really don't follow you here. Is this resonator in the tail pipe section or a part of the Merc manifold? The reversion ring between the manifold and tail pipe? The internal flapper part of the tail pipe? Got pics? Call me and I'll try to steer you right here, water in the wrong places can bite you in the azz.

Here's a pic of the part. Saw another post on here in regards and the keep it or toss it posts were about a 50-50 split. It resides inside the rubber hose between the engine and the thru hull exhaust tip.
