Hey guys .... Long time no talk too .....

As Al stated about the powersteering for Yamahas in 2011 it is true ..... I was in Old Forge this past weekend doing a last minute ride and met up with some factory reps from Yamaha and rode a 128" track with "powersteering" ..... it was awesome !!!
They also eluded to the fact there will be a 144" tipped up track available for the Apex with powersteering.
The idea behind this is acceleration and handling of a 121", comfort of a 136" and floatation of a 144" all in one track with powersteering ..... Now you can have as much front end ski pressure as you want allowing you to carve like crazy with little to no effort.

Whose your daddy now !!!!

Aside from that glad to see everyone is well ..... I have been wrapped up with finalizing my divorce buying a new house and dealing with business being slow ..... other then that it has been awesome !!!

When the friggin snow comes back let get back to riding ....

Rippem , Axa don't forget I have carte blanche of the place in Altmar, NY ....

Wednesday nights ... and Thursdays are great for me .... and some Sundays.

Talk to you soon !!!!

Jeff

Name the days! Except the week of February 16-24 (Florida). I'm in. Just need a little heads up (like a day or so...). Hope the snow isn't too beat down after the rain yesterday. Looks like the Lake Effect machine is turning on this week! Yea!

So the house we were talking about is a done deal? Congrats on that one!

Little Bro is having a reasonable winter so far, odd thing is it's still the trucks and SUV's that are carrying it, read that gas guzzlers just like before. Seems like they can't get the Ext-Cab trucks fast enough.

Hey Pete,
I think you might find some reasoning for the higher sales of the big vehicles could be related to the new fuel effiencie regulations that are coming down the pipe. If you look at Fords future strategies you'll find that the good old V8 will be replaced with a twin turbo V6. I mentioned earlier I might have a little insight, here's a link to the project I've been working on for about a year and half http://www.epa.gov/otaq/climate/420r09020.pdf
On another side note the new Dodge Ram Diesels with the 6.1or6.2 replace the old reliable 5.9, again emission related changes starving the engine. A lot of the guys that haul will be looking at the older ones.

When Mr. Green in his Prius with the stuck gas pedal is headed straight at you and the dumb azz has no clue what to do, at least you have some bulk around you!!! I'd hate to be a Toyota dealer today, can't sell 'em, can't even rent 'em.

Unreal Wednesday and Thursday....Rip and Twins are some riding mo fo's! Hope I didn't hold either of you up....

140 miles or so on Wednesday with Rip and around 180 miles on Thursday, with Twins.

Thursday between 9-3:30 with an hour for breakfast and an hour for an afternoon totty we averaged 47.5 mph!!

Twins will fill in the blanks! Had a blast! Do it again soon. Going to try to go locally (Cortland) today if there's some snow to be found!

Well as this thread is about to roll over to page three, a new all time low, I need to resurect it.

Any of you have a current mailing address for Got Twins?

Reason I ask is that in clearing out some chit, no offense here, to get ready for yet another remodeling phase on the commercial building I have come across a vintage pair of '88 and '89 Formula sales catalogs in primo condition . I would like to mail them out to Bird and Twins just for chits and grins, thought they might get a kick out of having them. I have Bird's mailing adress but I need Jeff's.
