Something else I've learned about racing boats is nobody gets paid for nothing. And you certainly wont make any money at it even if you win every race. Its all about having a great time and helping each other out and the ever sought after adrenaline rush that we all crave as power boaters (hence, the team name)
Well that's a revelation. Your partner Axa told me that there was $50K worth of prize money on the table down in Biloxi. With $50K and only 22 boats seems like you guys should all be getting rich at this. But then what the chit do I know.

Who splashed this weekend?
Was it Ragged who claimed He'd be in first?
Was it 5PM who has the boat out of storage and cleaned?
Did Rip get the early spring fever and dunk it?
Or was it the diehard Thirdbird who is spontaneous and will launch in 32* weather?
Let it begin boys....As for me, well, #2 is progressing nicely and when I get back from vacation...Let the rigging and testing begin!
Dave
BTW: My bets are on Thirdbird. Ragged has at least 10 more coats of wax to apply first!

Yup the ThirdBird was in yesterday. Ran like a top. Sandy Pond and the Big Lake were perfect. Hardly a ripple. Didn't even need jackets.
Pachanga Mike was with me and our two daughters. We'll have the photo-evidence up soon.
