Default Looking at a 2002 271

Hey just wondering how roomy these boats are, im thinking 6 adults maybe ? The wife wants a open bow, but im putting up a fight on this one. Also have any of u ever tubed or skied behind a 271, probably wont be the norm but every once and a while. Any info would be great.

Will be very tight with six adults. The 271 and 292 are both slow to plane so don't think tubing would be safe on this boat

Default 271 room

FOR SIX ADULTS IS pushing it if your going to be out all day , hell a 38 could get a little closterphoic on a all dayer and if the misses in not in total agreament with what you like you will pay more then M O N E Y you can tube or ski but dont think your going to be a ski boat hell at 7 to 14 mph you can just about get anyone up on skies , tubes dont take much but be realest as what type of funn you want and how much you want to dish out on the other end of the line with that said and good luck

6 adults would be cramped, you can tube behind one and ski but for best sking you may want to run 2 diff props if your also into top end, mine isnt a fastech and she can get outta the hole pretty good, still not a ski boat thou

Good compromise would be a 260 SS with a 496 mag or HO. I just picked one up for boating out in the southwest. You will give up some speed, but there is plenty of room to move around in the cockpit and still have a small cuddy cabin.

Totally agree!! The 260 SS would be much better choice.

Went and looked at that Formula over the weekend, the boat is pristine the wife really liked it but the bolsters seemed to be very close to the dash of the boat. Is the any way of moving them back 2 to 3 inches? Its fine when standing but when sitting my knees hit.

I have the same problem, but I'm 6'4 if I sit down i just adjust the steering wheel and can get comfy enough but I really never sit so I don't worry about it
