Thanks that does help.

My new light arrived the other day, I believe it will cover all the pre-existing holes. I have a little 5200 that will take care of that. Does anyone recommend any other products to fill in holes in the gelcoat?

Split,

Looking forward to hearing how your install goes... I have a 2002 292 and have wanted to replace the bow light for a while. Like you, I want a "clean" look... You are motivating me to get it done. What brand did you purchase? Also if you find a place to get the latches please post. My plastic white ones are starting to crack and break too... A little updating goes along way.

Bronco,

I browsed the internet for quite some time trying to find the least expensive stainless steel slam latch. I ended up getting one online from greatlakeskipper.com, I believe it was 29 and then either 6-7 for shipping. Most places wanted $60 bucks for it.

I believe the anchor locker latch is the same size as the ones on the battery box hatches. One of those is broken on mine, so I'm just going to swap the anchor locker latch with the broken one and replace anchor locker one with the SS latch. I'm hoping it will give it a sort of updated look up front. I figured with the chrome light, chrome cleat, and SS rails, the SS latch would just complete the package.
