Thanks, if its what I think they are, they are in the bottom of the bilge in front of the motors and are all brass with wing nuts to open them up, no clear cover though. I can see it would be nice if they were clear, I might have to change that.

Need a picture. That sounds more like a generator or AC strainer. Here's what I have. The black one on the left is bronze, just powder-coated, and is for the genny. The two stainless/clear ones with shutuff valves are for the engines.

<Edit> The second photo shows the (replumbed) strainer for the genny. I replaced the chintzy wingnuts with thumbscrews from McMaster-Carr..

Thanks for the info. Nice clean bilge, the gen is out of mine right now and I am going to clean it all up. Did you put the diamond plating in your's, I may do something like that in mine.
