Getting my boat back together bit by bit. Need to store it for a month or two till the guts are ready. Found a great indoor storage area. SWEET!!!! Some nice nice nice RV's in there too.

Chuck, actually the tabs were off too. I had them removed and thru bolted. The factory doesn't do that. I'm rebuilding the power I already have with the Whipples and re-rigging to clean up the factory stuff, add lights and make it all new again. Certainly can't sell it and so might as well fix it. :D

Phantom - What brand of wax or polish do you use? The boat looks likes it right off the show room floor.

Thanks......I really don't know as I've had someone else take care of the boat for the last 4 years. We live about 80 minutes away from where the boat has been kept. It only make sense to take care of your stuff......I mean, it's yours right? :)

Maybe I'll branch this thread off into some other issues I've had to deal with this year. Not pretty and not "healthy" for Formula owners. :popcorn:

Yes. I didn't have an issue with this but someone else mentioned it to me and it got on the list of "hey.....while we're doing all of this". I hate that friggin list. :D

Since we had a kid 3.5 years ago, it's got more miles on it per year now since our nanny drives our boy in it. :) Still....it has just 30K miles on it.

LOL Nort. I hear that. My "this should only keep me off the water for one year list" ended up taking me two years to complete becasue it kept growing faster than I could check off the completed stuff.

I just hooked up with Stinson for a set of drives. Could have it running this weekend. Getting cold out this way however. I had hoped to get it up and running again so I could burn off the 150 gallons of super I just put in it the day the drive blew!!! Got a lot of little projects for the winter.....

Pull the Bird from the Nest last weekend. Not sure why......I have to finish the SunSeeker first. I guess so we can do the little stuff and move forward so it is ready for Havasu. :) I feel a lot better about the boat now that the Formula hull manufacturing defect has been corrected on my boat, but I worry about other folks.

There has been no discussion on the board about the defect. What I will say is that of the 5 people I know in SCOPE with 382 hulls, all 5 boats had the same problem (each is a different year)!

Regarding the motors, its a total rebuild. I put the Whipples on in 2005-ish (about 150 hours ago).

Jon.....its a "goal". :) We probably won't do the poker run yet. Lots of other things to do with SCOPE this year. We'll probably do the Mead trip at least! Already booked for the spring fling!

That Superhawk is a beautie. Great job with the TLC, upgrades and improvements. NICE !!!

Moving forward.....rebuild the Stelling boxes and drives........

More forward 2.....new CMI pipes, new Stellings links, new transom assemblies, rebuilt the Stellings boxes......a look at the crappy Whipple intake parts that didn't last at all (going to trash dump).
