Default Drive setting on 382 for speed

Just starting to get a few hours on my 2001 382 with 500 efi's. Just curious how much others with this set up are bringing the drives up. Thanks

I have a 1999, and I run 5-6 as well, at full RPM's.
2 works best below 4,000 RPM's, moving up as speed increases.

Your 382 should have come equiped with GPS. Set GPS to read in tenths. At WOT adjust trim in small increments til you see best speed. This setting will change of course from full tank to empty or other variables.
