Looking at the old brochures on the 272's, I would think the deck mold was the same. The rear bench looks like sides were added in 85 with a built in beverage hodler.
Does anyone know if the cockpits changed in physical size from 86 back to 84ish?
Still toying with the idea of a 311 or 272 from this era. Family gets to go camping, I get to go out and play with the boys on the offshore boat!

So, shouldn't they all be the same up through 86? The curved windshields came out in 87.

I am going to be up in the area the next two weekends, thinking about looking at a 272 also while I am up there. Would prefer the 311 size, but if the 272 is low enough cost, I could play with that for a few years and then move up. Either cost less than what I just spent on braces for the two older boys!

Hey Car Biz, was yours the one that was up by Precision Power a couple months ago? There was a red one with surface drives stored next to the 37 OL I was working on.

Congrats on getting it out of your driveway and thank you for letting me know! There is a nice looking 311 in Chicago also for only 3k more, but it has replacement engines so I do not know what hrs are on drives, but they are TRS's. Might be doable.
