So, shouldn't they all be the same up through 86? The curved windshields came out in 87.

Looking at the old brochures on the 272's, I would think the deck mold was the same. The rear bench looks like sides were added in 85 with a built in beverage hodler.

Does anyone know if the cockpits changed in physical size from 86 back to 84ish?

Still toying with the idea of a 311 or 272 from this era. Family gets to go camping, I get to go out and play with the boys on the offshore boat!

Probably more than I want to spend right now, those Kaama's can't be cheap! Actually, anything is more than I have to spend right now, but I am tired of seeing investments take a beating. I am starting to think cash some out and spend it now and enjoy it while I can. Do I think our economy is going to end, no. But I do see the value of our money decling and a fairly good rate over the next 5 to 10 years. I just put no faith in our politicl leaders, either side for the last 20 plus years.

I am going to be up in the area the next two weekends, thinking about looking at a 272 also while I am up there. Would prefer the 311 size, but if the 272 is low enough cost, I could play with that for a few years and then move up. Either cost less than what I just spent on braces for the two older boys!

Hey Brian. Just to let you know, the boat is sold. I will be delivering it to Ohio this weekend. Hope you have a great vacation in Michigan, Nick.

Hey Car Biz, was yours the one that was up by Precision Power a couple months ago? There was a red one with surface drives stored next to the 37 OL I was working on.

Maybe I will go look at that 272 this weekend or next. Stock 350 small blocks with 450 hrs, I hear these are pretty tough engines and last awhile.

Congrats on getting it out of your driveway and thank you for letting me know! There is a nice looking 311 in Chicago also for only 3k more, but it has replacement engines so I do not know what hrs are on drives, but they are TRS's. Might be doable.

Hmm, wonder what is up with it. Looks nice in pictures!

Going to look at a 272. If that doesn't pan out maybe I will wait until after January, have other investments that "mature" then and become available for cashing them out also.
