You might not have a mechanical problem at all. I have an '05 353 and if I come up on plane a certain way, (slowly rolling up on plane), there is a certain point where I get a fair amount of vibration if I hold that position too long. I was out with a pretty knowledgeable dealer rep who said this was caused by the angle of the bottom of the boat to the surface of the water. I'm not sure exactly what he meant, but I do know I have to be planing exactly the same way for it to happen; otherwise, it doesn't happen at all.
Several years ago I test drove a 292 that did the same thing but only at a specific angle to the water surface for a very brief period.
I'm not sure if it is inherent in the hull design but it's something to think about before you go tearing into your power train looking for a mechanical problem.

well video didnt upload over the night, working on it again. I honestly dont think its drive train, boat runs too dam smooth in all other conditions. I really just need more seat time, trying tabs all the way down drives nuetral, ect. when coming onto plane.

If you were not putting the tabs down while going on plane and the drives all the way in,I think you just found your problem.
Post the video on You-Tube much easier.

I bet your right, tabs havent been full down , nor have drives been full in. I will do somemore testing.
youtube is crazy slow lately. I will keep trying, but just looking over the video, i see bow straight up pretty much indicating the above.

I agree with Bad Bird. My 353 does the same thing. Also, try runnng the boat out of the water and in gear. If something is not right, any vibration will be more noticeable without a load on the drive.

our 292 experiences the same vibration upon takeoff...i have attributed it to prop slip. as soon as we are on plane, vibration is gone. we can actually feel the props trying to grab. if you take off much more gradual (slowww) and are easy on the throttle, you will notice the vibration nearly disappears. thats our experience anyways. i dont think its anything mechanical.

I have a 1991 292 with 502 26B1 and as long as i have had the boat it has always done that same thing.Just adjust your throttle to work around it.It is the prop cavitating. If you continue you will notice some pitting on the back side of the prop.Steam burning the metal.....HOPE THIS HELPS.

Video won't upload. Could it be from st under platform? While running on the hose to winterize I kept hearing a noise like a baffle was loose or something. I could see that under the right circumstance this would rattle the boat giving a vibration...
